GRP Furniture
Domestic Furniture with the retro 60's look makes use of the amazing structural properties of GRP. The sculpted shell is moulded to create finish on the outside and is upholstered on the inside. The addition of four hardwood legs simply screw into 'moulded-in' threaded inserts. TV's in spherical cabinets made by Harviglass in the 70's are now changing hands for several thousand pounds is icons of the age. |

Here is a superb example of soffit work which exploits the full advantages of GRP. Hiding our Light?
When floodlighting the imposing Peel Building, Salford University was being designed, the ugly addition of large floodlight units needed to be avoided as they would compromise the daytime view of the building. The solution was 16 GRP hoods made to simulate existing building features in the exact colour of the original terra cotta. |

60?s Classic TV
This icon of 60?s chic is the Kerracolor TV from 1968. The globe shell and trumpet base were made exclusively by Harviglass all those years ago to house one of the first colour televisions. These TV gems are now collectors items changing hands for thousands of pounds. |

GRP Planter Wall
When the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham wanted to create a roof garden, Harviglass designed, manufactured and supplied the retaining GRP Walls for the flower beds. Standing 650mm high in 2.4M modules, the sections were bolted together to form large planting areas up to 30M long x 20M wide. Totally maintenance free the gloss green mouldings provide a unique solution. |
